Ben Simmons And Jaylen Brown Do Work In Summer League Debut (WATCH)

The No. 1 and No. 3 overall picks from the 2016 NBA Draft squared off last night at the Utah Summer League and showed flashes of what made them coveted prospects after just one year of college. Ben Simmons finished with 10 points on 2-9 shooting, but showed an impressive court vision that yielded five assists. Jaylen Brown dropped 16 points (11 of which came on free throw attempts) and helped lead the Celtics to a 102-94 win.

Simmons is back in action later this afternoon against the Spurs, while Brown will sit with a hyperextended knee as the C’s take on the Jazz. Check the full schedule at NBA.com.
