In the final period of the game in Indy on Tuesday night, the Pacers extended a 4-point lead into a 19-point lead, outscoring their opponents 36-21. Paul George scored 9 of his 21 in the fourth quarter, propelling the Pacers to their third win in four games. George Hill added 20 points, and CJ Miles contributed 19 off the bench in the win.
Spurs 109 (34-6), Pistons 99 (21-17)
The Spurs keep on winning. With their W over the Pistons on Tuesday, their streak stands at nine. From Timmy D to Kawhi, to Tony Parker’s season-high 31 (including 14 points on 7-7 shooting in the 3Q)…things continue to look up for the veteran San Antonio squad. LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 22 points and 13 boards, and Manu Ginobili added 15 off the bench. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the way for the Pistons with 25, and Andre Drummond added 17 points—2 of which came from the following:
Knicks 120 (20-20), Celtics 114 (19-19)

Despite Kristaps Porzingis’ foul trouble, his 26 points led the New York Knicks to a win Tuesday night against division rivals, the Boston Celtics. Fellow starter Arron Afflalo added 24, and Carmelo Anthony contributed 17 before spraining his ankle in the third quarter. The Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas led all scorers with 34 points, but that wasn’t enough to take care of business at Madison Square Garden.
Rockets 107 (20-19), Grizzlies 91 (21-19)
Not surprisingly, it was James Harden who led the Houston Rockets to a win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night at FedExForum. With 25 points from Harden, 20 from Terrence Jones, and 17 from Dwight Howard, the Rockets handed Memphis a loss that would halt their mini winning streak at only two games.
Bucks 106 (16-24), Bulls 101 (22-15)
Giannis Antetokounmpo (29 points and 10 rebounds) and his Milwaukee Bucks gave the Chicago Bulls their third consecutive loss on Tuesday night. All five Bucks’ starters were in double-figures and the team in green’s 5-point win came despite a 30-point road performance from the Bulls’ Jimmy Butler.
Thunder 101 (27-12), Timberwolves 96 (12-27)
Kevin Durant dropped 30 points (including 12 straight in the final minutes), and Russell Westbrook added 22 points and 11 assists as the OKC Thunder took care of the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center. Oklahoma City led by as many as 18 points, before the Wolves tried to rally back. But their rally was too little, too late, as the Thunder had already decided they’d go home with a W.
Cavaliers 110 (27-9), Mavericks 107 (22-17) OT
Two words.
What with his Mailman imitation and then his poster to take this game to OT…LeBron James is still the King. With 27 points, 10 boards and 7 assists, James led his Cleveland Cavaliers to their eighth consecutive win. Kyrie Irving added 22 points and 9 assists, and the Cavs are looking very fine.
Lakers 95 (9-31), Pelicans 91 (11-26)
The Lakers inched closer to getting their win column in double-digits when they beat the New Orleans Pelicans 95-91 on Tuesday night. Lou Williams led the way with 19 points, and Jordan Clarkson added 18 in the victory. Tyreke Evans scored 21 for New Orleans in the loss.
