Kristaps Porzingis Says He’ll Get Rudy Gobert Back for Dunking on Him

Rudy Gobert rose high above Kristaps Porzingis for a massive dunk Sunday at MSG, but Young Taps isn’t sweating it.

Porzingis says that he’ll have his revenge on Gobert sooner or later.

The Utah Jazz left New York with a 114-109 victory against the Knicks.

Per the NY Post:

With a smile, Porzingis said, “I don’t remember’’ the play. He then added good-naturedly: “I had a chance later on [for retaliation]. Of course I always want to get somebody back. I’ll be happy if we win the game in Utah. That’s the most important thing, but I’ll get him back, too.”

Gobert, a budding All-Star, finished with 13 points and three blocks, deflecting one of Porzingis’ drives, in Utah’s 114-109 win. […] “Now I know how people feel against my size, the long arms,’’ Porzingis said. “He’s the type of guy who’s always rolling hard and always worried about him with the lob.’’

Porzingis racked up 28 points, but at the start it looked like he was on his way to topping his career high (29). Coming off his 27-point explosion in Chicago, he racked up 14 of the Knicks first 20 points in the opening eight minutes but got into foul trouble.
