Toney Douglas Had Right Shoulder Surgery

The Knicks’ backup point guard is expected to be ready for training camp. From the NY Post: “Knicks guard Toney Douglas, who played with a bum shoulder almost all season, had successful right shoulder arthroscopic surgery Wednesday to repair a torn labrum, the club announced. Recovery time is expected to be 12 to 16 weeks, which means Douglas should be ready by September and healthy for training camp in October (if the NBA’s labor situation is settled). The procedure was performed by team orthopedist Dr. Answorth Allen at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.”
