Report: Dayton Dismisses Devon Scott For Stealing From Dorms

The 7-2 Dayton Flyers will be without its starting center and his backup for the rest of the season. It will also leave the squad with a dire need for a big man. Devon Scott and Jalen Robinson—Dayton’s starting and backup centers, respectively—allegedly stole money after trespassing into dormitories, and were dismissed from the program. With Archie Miller’s decision, Dayton’s tallest active players all stand at 6-6.

Dayton has dismissed starting center Devon Scott and backup big man Jalen Robinson from the team.

 

Robinson and Scott were involved in a trespassing incident in the dorms in which they allegedly stole money, sources said.

 

Scott was averaging 9.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Robinson was averaging 3.2 points and 2.4 rebounds.
