Five-star Recruit Noah Vonleh Reclassifies, Joins Class of 2013

Having been rated as the best power forward in the class of 2014, Noah Vonleh is now reclassifying to the 2013 class, making him a senior and allowing him to attend college next year. The 6-8 Massachusetts native will now have to speed up his recruitment process and it’s safe to say that every major collegiate program will be vying for his services. Where should he be ranked in the 2013 class now? From the Courier-Journal: Noah Vonleh, a 6-foot-8 power forward and a target of many elite programs, has reclassified from the 2014 class – where he was a consensus top-five prospect – to 2013, according to ESPN.com analyst Dave Telep. Vonleh, who plays for New Hampton School in New Hampshire, is apparently academically far enough along to join the high school senior class now and play college basketball next season. He is a top target of Indiana University, North Carolina and others. Vonleh is a versatile offensive player and an elite rebounder. It’ll be interesting to watch if his 2013 availability affects any other top senior forwards like Julius Randle and Jabari Parker, who are considering some of the same schools as Vonleh. He’s nearly as big a prize as those players, so if he were to pick a certain school, it may push others to a different place (or vice versa).”
