Brad Brownell is going to be the head coach at Clemson for a long time.
Brownell and the university agreed to a six-year contract extension that will keep Brownell at Clemson through the 2019-20 season. In his four years at the school, Brownell has compiled a 74-58 record, and has made one NCAA Tournament and one NIT.

Brownell and the university have agreed to a new six-year contract, the school announced Friday morning.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Brownell was hired as Clemson coach in April 2010 and received a six-year contract with an annual salary of $900,000. A year later, he received a raise to $1.2 million annually and a one-year extension through the 2016-17 season.
“I am thrilled to be the head basketball coach at Clemson and take great pride in the many accomplishments of our players on and off the court,” Brownell said in a statement. “I look forward to building on the success of this past season and believe there is a great deal of positive momentum within the program.”
Through his first four seasons at Clemson, Brownell compiled a record of 74-58. This past season, Clemson earned a 23-13 record and advanced to the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament. The Tigers produced a 10-win improvement from the previous season, the largest turnaround in school history.
Brownell took over the program in 2010-11.
