Duke Wins 2015 NCAA National Championship

Wisconsin v Duke

No. 1 Duke Blue Devils 68, No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers 63

Congratulations to the Duke Blue Devils, 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Champions. Led by 23 points from freshman PG Tyus Jones, Duke fought back from down 9 in the second half and won despite foul trouble for big man Jahlil Okafor, who finished with just 10 points and 3 boards. How about this stat: Every single point of the second half for Duke was scored by a freshman. (Shouts to Grayson Allen!)

National Player of the Year Frank Kaminksy poured in 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Wisconsin Badgers, but it wasn’t enough.

It’s Coach K’s fifth National Championship. Jones, meanwhile, was named Final Four Most Outstanding Player. Salute, Duke!
