As the 2014-2015 HS basketball season comes to a conclusion, it’s that time of the year for post-season accolades to get distributed among the nation’s cream of the crop. Today, one of the most prestigious awards around, the Gatorade State Player of the Year, revealed its 2014-15 recipients. Below is the complete list of state-by-state winners. Shout out to our HS diarist, Malik Newman, for not only being among the names listed below for the second straight year, but for also winning his fourth consecutive state title last weekend. Always good to see the SLAM Fam do their thing.
