Regarded as one of the top-40 recruits in the Class of 2017, Chaunde Brown announced on Sunday via Twitter his verbal commitment to Wake Forest after visiting the campus over the weekend. The 6-5 shooting guard, who attends First Academy in Orlando (FL), also held offers from Florida, Kansas and Maryland. He becomes the Demon Deacons’ second commitment for the Class of 2017, joining Melo Eggleston, a 6-8 forward out of Clinton Christian School in Maryland.
