Stephen Curry is Sick and Missing Practices

After a close loss to the Raptors, the Warriors destroyed the Clippers last week and then beat the Kings. Stephen Curry played in both games for an average of 24 minutes, throwing up a combined 27 points and 10 assists in the two wins. But Curry has been battling flu-like symptoms for the past couple days and nobody has pinpointed the exact problem the two-time MVP is facing.

Curry attended practice on Saturday, but didn’t participate. He then stayed home on Sunday. Steve Kerr gave an update on Curry’s status yesterday:

“He’s still sick,” coach Steve Kerr said Sunday. “It’s been a tough few days. He’s going to be fine, but he’s just not been feeling well. Calling in the doctor today for a house call.”

“We’ll see how the rest of the week goes, and how next week goes in terms of how much he plays and practices,” Kerr said. “We’re hoping he’ll be better in the next day or two.”

The Warriors next game is on Friday in Denver.
