Xavier landed a huge commitment on Friday afternoon when Indianapolis native Paul Scruggs, a 6-3 guard ranked among the top-30 players in the Class of 2017, announced on Twitter that he will be taking his talents to the Cincinnati school next year. He is currently spending his final year of high school at Prolific Prep in Napa, CA. Scruggs becomes the Musketeers’ fifth 2017 commit after Naji Marshall (a 6-6 wing out of Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia), Jared Ridder (a 6-6 wing out of Kickapoo High in Missouri), Elias Harden (a 6-5 guard out of Sandy Creek High in Georgia) and Kentrevious Jones (a 6-11 center out of Westside High in Georgia).
I am blessed to say that I am committed to Xavier University #Xmarksthespot 😎😤💯💪🏾
