Commemorating Damian Lillard’s former AAU team—the Oakland Rebels—adidas has released the newest model of the D Lillard 1.
During Dame’s playing days with the Rebels, the team couldn’t afford their own shoes. The NBA All-Star has since fixed that problem.
Lillard donates kicks, jerseys and gear to his former club, never forgetting where he came from. The new colorway honors the team with a light blue upper and a red snakeskin print on the heel and toecap of the shoe.
