If you weren’t ready at your computer on Saturday morning, you probably didn’t cop the Air Jordan “Celebration Collection.” Retailing at $250 per pair in two separate colorways, Jordan Brand released the special edition Air Jordan VIs this weekend, fitting timing for the most recent crowning of a new NBA Champion last night in San Antonio.
Michael Jordan won his first NBA Championship wearing the Air Jordan VI, which makes it a special sneaker, even for the most famous signature sneaker line in history. No surprise, then, that you saw this soon after the shoe was made available at Nike.com:
