After the madness that the long awaited Galaxy Foams created, Nike waited a few weeks before dropping another pair of dope Foams to sneaker fiends. The Galaxy’s created such chaos that cities such as Raleigh and Orlando decided to not even sell the joints and ship them back to Nike. With a pair selling for 70 grand, one can truly see the hysteria that Penny Hardaway’s signature shoes have created. Tomorrow the Electrolime Foamposite ones will hit the shelves, albeit in limited quantities.
More commonly referred as “the yellow foams,” the Electrolimes are going to be more readily available than the Galaxy’s, but will undoubtedly sell out everywhere by the end of the day tomorrow. Carrying the steep price tag of $220, it’s a pretty price to pay for a pair of dope kicks that will stand out with any wardrobe. While many will be getting it in for St. Patrick’s Day, true sneaker heads will be waiting in line at the break of dawn to cop some Foams.
The Electrolime Foamposites will be available at all Foot Locker House of Hoops locations, along with other select retailers. Nike.com will have them too, though expect Nike’s site to crash shortly after midnight with everyone scrambling to get a pair.
