Jim Jones, Mack Wilds and several other celebs will take the court this Saturday (January 24) for the Ballin’ For Peace Celebrity Game in New York City. The charity game tips off at 5 p.m. at Baruch College, and is the final event of Peace Week, a week-long celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Wilds will be joined by another actor from The Wire, Julito McCullum, and Tara Wallace from Love and Hip Hop. Former Knick Chris Smith and Marc John Jefferies, an actor on the Tracy Morgan Show, will also be playing.
The game is sponsored by Ektio, a revolutionary new basketball shoe that guards against ankle sprains, and proceeds will go towards youth programs. For tickets and info, see the flyer below.
