NBA Kicks of the Night

And just like that, the 2014-2015 NBA regular season is officially in the books.

Wrapping up with a whopping 14 games last night, fans were treated to tons of action and a sick amount of kicks. Which kicks were your favorite ones of the season and which player do y’all think had the best sneaker game in the league this year? The Suns’ trio of P.J. Tucker and the Morris twins always rocked heat on court along with several Raptors DeMar DeRozan, Terrence Ross, and James Johnson all rocking head snapping joints from time to time.

Unlike last season, LeBron James wore his signature model for most of the year and excited fans with an abundant amount of sicks PEs throughout the season. And speaking of LeBron, Nerlens Noel of the Sixers and DeMarre Carroll of the Hawks both rocked a ton of crazy NikeiD versions of the Nike LeBron 12. Wilson Chandler of the Nuggets carried the Nike KD7 torch as Kevin Durant’s injury plagued season prevented him from rocking his latest and greatest while the Lakers’ Wesley Johnson did the same for the Kobe Bryant and his Nike Kobe X.

Russell Westbrook continued to be the face of Jordan Brand with an incredible amount of Air Jordan XX9 PEs at his disposal and fellow MVP candidate James Harden of the Rockets made the Nike Zoom Run the One his official sneaker of the season while making a strong argument to become Nike’s next athlete to get a signature model.  This season did see some of the league’s best young guards debut their own signature silhouettes highlighted by Kyrie Irving and Nike Kyrie 1, Stephen Curry and his Under Armour Curry One, John Walll with the adidas J Wall 1, and Damian Lillard and the adidas D Lillard 1.

The future of kicks is extremely bright and while the regular season may be over, we have the playoffs and the hope of seeing some fresh colorways to continue fueling our sneakerhead desires.
