Playoff Kicks of the Night

It was another roller coaster affair in Oakland as the Warriors managed to hold off a spirited Rockets team, 99-98. Racing out to a 17-point second quarter lead, it appeared Golden State was poised to runaway with this one. But the Rockets gave the Warriors a taste of their own medicine with a furious rally that tied the game at 55-55 entering the half.

While the second half saw several lead changes, it appeared the Warriors had the Rockets put away with an 8-point lead with less than two minutes left in the game. But as this year’s playoffs have proven, the game’s are unpredictable and anything happen. Behind a Harden to Howard alley-opp and some stout defense, Houston regained possession with roughly 7 seconds left on the clock. Unfortunately, the game would come to an anti-climactic end as Curry – in the Under Armour Curry One –  and Thompson – sporting the Nike Hyperdunk 2014 – doubled-teamed the Nike Zoom Run the One wearing Harden causing the ‘Bearded’ one to fumble the ball away and ending Houston’s opportunity to steal one in Oakland.
