Opening Night’s Best NBA Kicks

The NBA 2016-17 season officially tipped off last night with a trio games featuring some of the game’s biggest names. In Cleveland, LeBron James and the Cavaliers were presented with their championship rings as the team raised its first championship banner in an emotional pregame ceremony. James—wearing his Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier X—proceeded to drop his first opening game triple-double as the Cavs’ dominated the revamped New York Knicks, 117-88.

In Portland, the dynamic duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum combined for 64 points as the Blazers scorched the Utah Jazz, 113-104. Lillard took the floor in his all-white adidas D Lillard 2 Primeknit while McCollum balled out in the Nike Hyperdunk 2016. In the evening’s final game, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors were simply overmatched by Kawhi Leonard and company as the Spurs spoiled Kevin Durant’s debut with a convincing 129-100 victory. Both Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge took the floor in the Air Jordan XXXI while Durant rocked his Nike KD 9 and Curry his Under Armour Curry 3 “Dub Nation.”
