NBA Kicks of the Night

Jordan Brand made news last night in the sneaker world as several of its players took to the floor wearing military inspired PEs. To coincide with the NBA’s annual Hoops for Troops Week, JB created special PEs worn that were worn by Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Frank Kaminsky. Westbrook wore the Air Jordan XXXI, Paul the CP3.X, Griffin in the Super.Fly 5, and Kaminsky in the Air Jordan XVI Retro. All pairs were done in earth tones and done in desert camo motifs.

The night also featured some marquee matchups. James Harden and his adidas Harden Vol.1 got the best of Kawhi Leonard and his Air Jordan XXXI in an exciting showdown in San Antonio. The Curry Brothers—Steph and Seth—squared off in Oakland with both rocking the Under Armour Curry 3. In that game, Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut faced off against their former team for the first time. Barnes rocked the adidas Crazy Explosive while Bogut—who normally wears the Nike Hyperdunk 2016—did not play.
