Meet the second generation of the Nike Basketball Elite Series, featuring superhero-inspired versions of the Nike LeBron X, the KD V and the Kobe 8 System. The trio of advanced kicks use lightweight construction, dynamic fit and increased protection. Similar to last year’s Elite series, there’s an infusion of Kevlar and Carbon fiber armor.
The LeBron X PS Elite is inspired by the rare Carbonado diamond, a virtually indestructible sneaker with bright “citrus” colorway. The Kobe 8 System Elite poison green colorway is inspired by the green pit viper snake and its x-ray vision, heat-sensing eyes. And the Nike KD V Elite joins the Elite series with a low-cut, volt colorway model of Kevin Durant’s latest sig.
This year’s Nike Basketball Elite Series 2.0 is set to hit retailers starting April 28.
