Nike x OHSU Doernbecher Unveil 12th Freestyle Collection (KICKS)

Nike’s partnership with Doernbecher continues to raise millions of dollars for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation—and continues to produce some of the coolest kicks every year. Available on November 21, the Swoosh has just released images of this year’s Doernbecher collection, which is made of the Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit, the Air Jordan XIII, the LeBron 13, the Air Max 90 PRM, the Air Max 95 PRM and the Zoom Janowski. From Nike:

When Michael Doherty, Nike’s Creative Director of Global Brand Presentations, joined the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation board in 2004, he was asked to suggest new ways to garner support for the hospital.

Doherty’s teenage son Connor, an avid sneaker collector, offered a simple solution: combine the creative resources of Nike with the imaginations of OHSU Doernbecher’s young patients to produce one-of-a-kind shoes.

Twelve years later, the Freestyle Collection has raised over $11 million to help expand the hospital’s pioneering research, support clinical care, purchase state-of-the-art equipment, recruit new experts and subsidize the cost of care for families in need.
