Brandblack ‘Ether’ (KICKS)

Our friends at Brandblack continue to drop some beautiful silhouettes that are strong enough for the NBA hardwood while also stylish enough to wear with everyday street fashion. The latest, the Brandblack “Ether,” drops tomorrow, Thursday, March 10th. If it looks familiar, that’s because it’s been the preferred on-court sneaker for Rockets forward Josh Smith recently.

Per the brand, the Ether is the world’s first modern “Blucher Construction” basketball shoe—that’s the way bball sneakers were designed from the 1900s through the 1970s, with an emphasis on lateral support and forefoot lockdown. Designer David Raysse merged “Blackfoam” cushioning technology with the brand’s Force Vector Tech, a military grade ballistic nylon upper and nubuck support panels.

The Ether will be available in five launch colorways: Black, Blue, Grey, Olive and White, as you can see in the photos above. You can cop via retailers including Revolve, Bait, Champs, Dr. Jays, Footaction, Titan, BX Sports, and Brandblack.com.
