Talk about an epic collaboration. Last December, Reebok announced it was teaming up with Grammy Award winning recording artist Kendrick Lamar to create a collection. After months of waiting, the first shoe is set to drop later this week.
The limited edition Reebok Ventilator consists of a tonal paperwhite upper made of premium pigskin nubuck. There are small hits of blue and red scattered throughout the sneaker—on the sockliners, the embroidered tongue labels, the debossed heels, and the woven rope laces.
The red and blue are nods to the gang culture in Kendrick’s home town of Compton, with the kicks designed to bring people together.
Starting July 18, the shoe will be available on Reebok.com, Shiekh, Shoe Palace, Bait, DTLR, and Shoe City for $125. For now, check out the detailed photos above.
