4-Star Recruit Zach Norvell Drops 53 Points at Las Vegas Tourney (VIDEO)

Balling out at the Las Vegas Live tournament over the weekend, Chicago guard Zach Norvell exploded for 53 points to help his Mac Irvin Fire defeat the Castle Knights. The performance was highlighted by a whopping 14 three-pointers throughout the game, including 11 just in the first half. The 6-4 shooting guard is a rising senior at Simeon Career Academy, the same South Side program that Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker led to four consecutive state titles during his high school days. So it was only fitting that the former Duke standout was sitting on the bench with his former AAU team on Saturday night when the latest Simeon standout had his career-best outing.
