Blazers Fan Removed from Game on a Stretcher

UPDATE:Sadly, the female fan died after being wheeled out of the arena on a stretcher.

A scary moment took place Thursday night in Portland, during the Blazers’ 108-87 win against the visiting Dallas Mavericks.

A fan required medical attention and was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.

At the moment, that’s all the information that has been released.

Per CSNNW:

A woman received medical attention at her seat early in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s Blazers-Mavericks game at the Moda Center and then was wheeled out of arena on a stretcher and taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.

No other information was available about who the woman was or her condition.

The incident occurred during a timeout in the fourth quarter. Many people in the arena stood up and began looking over toward section 111 across from the visitor’s bench. Within maybe two minutes paramedics and a stretcher were on the scene. The woman was placed on a stretcher and then wheeled across the court in front of the Mavericks players and out of the arena. […] During the entire incident, players from both teams stood and watched with concern.
