Chipper Jones is one of Atlanta’s most recognizable sports legends, beginning his career with the Braves in 1993 and spending his whole MLB tenure with the franchise until his retirement in 2012.

The former NL MVP reached the pinnacle of success when the Braves won the World Series in 1995.

SLAMonline caught up with Jones at this past weekend’s Warriors-Hawks game, and the baseball great talked about the Hawks and his high expectations for ATL’s pro sports scene.—Tracy Weissenberg / @basketballista
