Chris Bosh Stuffs Gordon Hayward’s Dunk Attempt (VIDEO)

Gordon Hayward exploded into the lane Thursday night, thinking he had himself a nice two-handed jam … until Chris Bosh showed up, that is.

Bosh and the Miami Heat hung on for a 92-91 win against Hayward’s visiting Utah Jazz.

The All-Star big fella finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and four blocks.

Per the Sun-Sentinel:

With Dwyane Wade tending to a family matter, Chris Bosh was asked to play as a leading man Thursday. Surprisingly, so was Tyler Johnson. […] Both came through in the 92-91 victory over the Utah Jazz that lifted the Heat to 3-0 to start this seven-game homestand.

“I think we’ve done a good job,” Bosh said of the homestand. “The energy has been good. We’ve been winning games.” […] Bosh was supported by another strong effort off the bench from Tyler Johnson, who made two key late shots after Utah had trimmed what had been a nine-point Heat fourth-quarter lead to two. Johnson closed with 17 points on 8-off-12 shooting.

Factor in 14 rebounds and five blocked shots from Heat center Hassan Whiteside, and it was enough to overcome a night Goran Dragic was off with his ballhandling, although he did make needed free throws late. […] It all was needed with Alec Burks sparking Utah off the bench, including a 3-pointer just before the final buzzer, on the way to 21 points, and Jazz forward Derrick Favors blocking a career-best seven shots.
