Harold Miner, JR Rider, those old school uniforms, the year 1995… This was right around the time I fell in love with the game and it consumed my life. Started reading a dope basketball magazine which became my Bible throughout childhood, wanted nothing more than a pair of Js, played rain or shine, spent my entire allowance on basketball cards (Fleer, Fleer Ultra, Flair, Topps Finest… ya’ll know what i’m talking about), dreamt about being six feet, had friends convinced I’d be in the league, rocked a Starter pull-over, and skipped meals for a few more bounces and bank shots. 90s hoops are what hooked me.
