A lot of attention has been paid to the shifty ballhandlers and freakishly athletic forwards on these posts, time for some big man appreciation. With the greatest footwork of any big man in the history of the NBA, Hakeem Olajuwon was a site to see on the basketball court. Not many centers could keep up with him on the offensive end and his shot-blocking ability was uncanny. Check out his average stat line from the ’89-’90 season: 24 pts, 14 rebounds, 4.5 blocks, 2 steals, and 3 assists….. a game!!!! That’s absurd. Peep the video.
