The 2016 grassroots circuit officially started last weekend and Nike took over NYC for the inauguration. After hosting the nation’s top high school seniors as well as top international prospects during the week for the Jordan Brand Classic festivities, the EYBL (Elite Youth Basketball League) hosted just about every high-major college coach in America at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal during the weekend to kick off its 2016 season. As always, the competition on the hardwood was just as high and intense as it is every year, with the nation’s top recruits showcasing why they are rated among the best. Class of 2017 wings Brian Bowen and Justice Sueing and 2017 guard Hamidou Diallo (who reportedly ended up receiving a scholarship offer from Kentucky afterward) were among the players with some of the most awing finishes at the rim. Check them out in action in the video above.
