Post Up: Triple-Double Machine

Wizards 101 (6-10), Kings 95 (7-11)

Boogie went off for 36 points and 20 rebounds (his fourth straight 30+ point performance), but it wasn’t enough to push the Kings past the Wiz in a game that went to OT. Bradley Beal led Washington with 31 points, and John Wall flirted with a triple-double (19p, 11a, 8r). Here’s one of Wall’s pretty dimes to Kelly Oubre:

Raptors 122 (11-6), 76ers 95 (4-14)

Kyle Lowry went a perfect 6-6 on three-pointers, dropping 24 total points to lead all scorers. As a team, the Raps shot a scorching 68.4% from behind the arc. I mean, everything was falling:

For Philly, Robert Covington had 20 and Big Jah had 15.

Thunder 112 (11-8), Knicks 103 (8-9)

It was a fun one at MSG, with the point guards battling it out in front of a raucous crowd. Despite a season-high 30 points from Rose, it was Russ who had the last laugh. The superstar posted his third consecutive and eighth total triple-double of the season (27 points, 14 assists, 18 rebounds). In fact, Westbrook is now AVERAGING a triple-double (30.9 points, 11.3 assists, 10.3 rebounds).

Look at this ridiculous board from tonight’s contest:

Some of the bigs had it going as well, as Kristaps put up 21 and Enes Kanter had 27 and 10 boards off the bench.

Celtics 112 (10-7), Heat 104 (5-12)

It was a tale of two halves for the Heat, who tied a season-low with 12 points in the second quarter and set a season-high with 42 points in the third. Their comeback effort wasn’t enough, however, as the Celtics grabbed their 10th win behind 25 points from Isaiah Thomas. Goran Dragic (27p,17a) and Hassan Whiteside (25p,17r) had impressive double-doubles for Miami.

Hornets 104 (10-7), Grizzlies 85 (11-7)

Kemba and Jeremy Lamb dropped 21 apiece as the Hornets used a big second quarter (31-14) to grab the 104-85 win on the road. Marc Gasol posted 19 and 8 boards for the Grizz, who have lost two of their last three.

Jazz 112 (10-8), Timberwolves 103 (5-12)

With the Jazz leading by two in the fourth quarter, Shabazz Muhammad took matters into his own hands:

Still, the Jazz were able to withstand Minnesota’s fourth quarter push and claim their third straight win. George Hill and Gordon Hayward each had 24, and Rudy Gobert controlled the paint with 16 points, 17 boards, and 3 blocks. LaVine had 28, 8, and 8 for the Wolves.

Warriors 105 (16-2), Hawks 100 (10-8)

Atlanta put up a tough fight, but the Warriors were just too much down the stretch. Draymond Green had two big-time blocks in the final minute that helped sealed the deal. Durant put up 25 and 14 rebounds. Curry contributed 25 points as well, including this gem:

Dennis Shroder led the Hawks in scoring with 24 on 10/20 shooting. Golden State has now won 12 in a row.
