Rudy Gobert Dominates the Grizzlies With 24 Rebounds (VIDEO)

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert pulled down a career-high 24 boards Tuesday night, as the Jazz held off the visiting (and short-handed) Memphis Grizzlies 93-82.

Gobert also chipped in 15 points.

This is Utah’s first three-game winning streak of the season.

Per the Salt Lake Tribune:

“You know how I feel about all that, streaks one way or another,” Utah coach Quin Snyder said. “We could lose three in a row and I don’t want to feel like the sky is falling. But I feel like what we’re doing right now is playing good basketball.”

Nevermind that Memphis was missing starting forward Zach Randolph because of illness and key reserve Tony Allen due to suspension. The Jazz still handled the likes of Marc Gasol (17 points on 15 shots) and Mike Conley (11 points on 11 shots). As (Gordon) Hayward said, “For us, I don’t think it takes anything away.”

Utah committed 16 turnovers, but helped make up for that by out-rebounding Memphis 55-37, thanks to a career-high effort from Gobert. […] “Some days you feel like it’s very hard to get a couple rebounds,” he said after grabbing 24 boards, “and some days it feels like it just comes to me.”
