Russell Westbrook’s 36-12-18 Triple-Double Leads OKC Past Nuggets in OT

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook finished with 36 points, 18 assists and 12 rebounds as OKC snapped a three-game slide with a 132-129 OT win over Denver on Friday.

It was the first 30-point, 18-assist triple-double since Magic Johnson on March 26, 1989.

It was Westbrook’s sixth triple-double of the season and 48th for his career, placing him behind LeBron James (who just recorded his 60th career triple-double) for seventh all-time.
