Storylines from Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals were dominated by Stephen Curry’s 34-point performance and his adorable 2-year old daughter.
The NBA found nothing particularly cute in Curry’s flop late in the fourth quarter, however, as he unsuccessfully tried to draw a foul on Houston Rockets forward Terrence Jones while splashing home yet another three-pointer.
From the press release:
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules during Game 1 of the Warriors’ Western Conference Finals series against the Houston Rockets.
The incident occurred with 3:07 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ 110-106 victory over the Rockets on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena.
