#TBT: 1990 All-Star Game

I’d like to welcome you to All-Star Weekend by throwing it back 25 years. The ’90 event featured an all-time great Eastern roster: Michael Jordan, Isiah Thomas, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, Joe Dumars, Dominique Wilkins, Reggie Miller, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.

The poor West never stood a chance, and that squad had Hakeem Olajuwon, James Worthy, David Robinson, Magic and plenty more.

The East jumped out early and cruised to 130 points and a win. The highlights are absurd, but my favorite play is Barkley sinking a 35-footer at the buzzer just for good measure (analyze that).

The final score may not have been close, but this one’s well worth watching for the star power alone. Enjoy this and the rest of the weekend.
