TNT: Charles Barkley Didn’t Utter Gay Slur During Hawks/Celtics Game

The employer of both Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith claims no gay slur was used, but based on the video above, you can judge for yourselves. From USA Today: “In the pregame show before TNT’s Atlanta Hawks-Boston Celtics game, Kenny Smith was discussing a colorfully-dressed Celtics fan who, said Smith, ‘was dressed like a fan.’ Several Twitter users felt otherwise, concluding a slur had been used. But TNT spokesman Nate Smeltz, after conferring with Smith and Barkley and the show’s production staffers, said Smith said ‘fan’ and ‘definitively did not say anything else.'”
