WATCH: Breanna Stewart Drops 38 Points To Beat Atlanta

Storm rookie Breanna Stewart led Seattle to a 84-81 win over the Dream on Tuesday behind a career-high 38 points. The performance goes down in the record books as the most points scored by a Storm rookie.

Stewart gave Seattle the lead with 41.7 seconds left by muscling in a layup and getting the and one. The Storm would finish the game on a 7-0 run.

Breanna Stewart knows how to build streaks. The Storm rookie’s college record was 151-5 at the University of Connecticut.

Coupled with Friday’s home win against Connecticut, it’s the Storm’s first back-to-back victories of the season.
