Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard D’Angelo Russell was super-pumped to join Kobe Bryant’s team … and then, the season started.
Russell, who was recently demoted to the bench along with teammate Julius Randle by head coach Byron Scott, was messing around with an assistant coach Wednesday when he airballed a fadeaway jumper while pretending to be Kobe.

Scott says he has yet to talk to Russell and Randle about their new roles, which is awesome.
Byron said he has not talked to Russell and Randle about their demotions: "It's a big boys league. You got to come to work everyday."
