Nike’s past is littered with classic silhouettes that advanced sneakers technologically and also looked beautiful. The Air Flow, Air Max 90, Air Current and Air Presto all have their own significant place in the Swoosh’s history.
Nike recognized this and took aspects from each of those to create the LunarCharge. The neoprene material borrowed from the Air Flow, eye stays from the Air Max 90, shape of the Air Current and internal bootie construction of the Air Presto have all made their way to the LunarCharge. Nike’s also included their Lunarlon technology for a comfortable and responsive ride.
The LunarCharge releases on November 18, for $120 at select boutiques.
