Allen Iverson Calls Himself a ‘Basketball Genius’

Allen Iverson was in attendance Thursday for the Philadelphia Sixers’ unveiling of their new uniforms, and said he’s on board with former head coach Larry Brown’s suggestion that he join the team’s front-office.

The Answer says he has special powers to help him determine other players’ willingness to go to war on the court, and that he’d be an asset for the rebuilding Sixers.

A.I. considers himself a “basketball genius”.

Per CBS Philly:

“I have a sharp mind when it comes to that look,” Iverson said. What is that “look,” you ask?

“Being able to look into somebody’s eyes and tell if they’re going to be in the foxhole with you tonight or if they’re not.”

Iverson made it clear, he’s confident in his basketball knowledge. […] “To me, I’m a basketball genius and I really believe that” Iverson said. “So, any capacity that I could help this franchise, that’s what I’m going to do.”
