Andrew Bogut Out Indefinitely With Right Knee Injury

The Golden State Warriors announced Thursday that center Andrew Bogut is out indefinitely, after undergoing platelet-rich plasma therapy on his bum right knee.

The decision on the treatment and shutting the big fella down was made Wednesday.

Bogut, who’s missed four games due to the knee, is averaging 7.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.2 blocks for the 21-3 Dubs.

Per the Contra Costa Times:

“We fully support Andrew in his decision to undergo the PRP treatment,” Warriors general manager Bob Myers said in a statement. “Our number one concern is that Andrew is 100 percent healthy and we will continue to support him in any way to make that happen.

Bogut, who turned 30 three weeks ago, missed the playoffs along with 14 regular-season games last season because of rib, pelvis/groin, ankle and shoulder injuries.
