Andrew Bynum: Lakers ‘Know Exactly How to Defend’ Thunder

Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum don’t sound overly concerned about the Lakers’ chances tonight and going forward in their series against the Thunder. Bynum even claimed that his team figured out how to slow down OKC. From the LA Times: “If the Lakers drop Game 3 Friday at Staples Center, Kobe Bryant will almost surely have to get a sixth ring a different time. No NBA team has come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. Bryant offered reporters a few different versions of ‘We’ll be fine,’ his voice showing anything but panic Thursday. He seemed more amused at the media horde surrounding him. ‘I’ve been here before,’ he said. ‘I communicated that to the guys. Everybody will be ready to go.’ […] The Lakers are now 1-4 against the Thunder this season. They’re hoping to match the defensive physicality they showed Wednesday in holding Russell Westbrook to five-for-17 shooting and post players Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins to combined five-for-16 shooting. ‘I don’t think we have many pieces to pick up,’ center Andrew Bynum said. ‘We know exactly how to defend them now and offensively making them pay for just being over-aggressive.'”
