After finally eliminating those pesky and terrifying Denver Nuggets, Andrew Bynum likes his team’s chances at grabbing another ring this summer. But only on one condition. From the OC Register: “Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum in Game 7 became the first teammates in NBA playoff history to combine for at least 30 points, 30 rebounds, 20 offensive rebounds and 10 blocks in a game. Steve Blake concluded after Gasol’s Game 7: ‘You saw the hunger.’ And Gasol will need to bring that intensity much earlier in [the Thunder] series. ‘Got to continue to play the same way,’ Gasol said. Bynum vowed to stay focused on defense first, seeing at least four blocks each game from him as a key to advancing now and later. He also offered a defense-focused declaration. ‘We’ll win this championship,” Bynum said, ‘if we commit to defense.'”
