Barack Obama a Fan of ‘Linsanity’

Jeremy Lin’s exploits are being watched around the world, and the White House is certainly not exempt from Linsanity. From the AP: “White House spokesman Jay Carney says President Barack Obama is tracking the exploits of Jeremy Lin, the sudden star of the New York Knicks … Carney says Lin’s game-winning 3-pointer at the end of Tuesday night’s game against Toronto was the subject of conversation with the president aboard Marine One on Wednesday morning. Obama was on his way to Milwaukee, the start of a three-day trip focused mainly on political fundraising. Carney says Lin’s success is ‘just a great story, and the president was saying as much [Wednesday] morning.’ He says it’s a story that ‘transcends the sport itself.'”
