Baron Davis Left Cavs Training Camp Due to Injured Back

With his future currently up in the air, Baron Davis’ injured back has forced him to bow out of training camp for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Reports ESPN: “Cleveland Cavaliers guard Baron Davis has left training camp to get a second opinion on what could be a herniated disk in his lower back, according to his agent Todd Ramasar. ‘We knew he had an injury coming in to camp because he hurt it during the lockout,’ Ramasar said. ‘Cleveland was aware of it as well. After he took a physical, we had their doctors look at it and now we’re getting a second opinion.’ Ramasar would not offer further details on how Davis hurt his back. Davis was able to continue working out and playing after he was injured, although he appeared to be moving gingerly during a charity game he hosted in Los Angeles on Nov. 27. ‘We want him to see as many specialists as possible,’ Cavaliers GM Chris Grant said. ‘We’re very supportive of it because there are a lot of good doctors out there. We’re supportive of him getting healthy.'”
