Projected top NBA Draft pick Ben Simmons appears to have come to grips with the likelihood of becoming a Sixer this week.
The 19-year-old did work out for Philly after all, and repeated an oft-mocked axiom that marked the multi-year tanking that has the franchise poised to add a potential superstar on Thursday.

Simmons’ management team was reportedly informed that the Sixers will indeed select him first overall.
Per the NEOMG:
LeBron James and his agent Rich Paul are still winning. […] Paul, of Cleveland-based Klutch Sports, represents Simmons.
Simmons, 19, departed LSU following his freshman campaign, when he averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4,8 assists. The 6-foot-10 forward is considered by many as a franchise player whose game best resembles LeBron James’.
Paul helped orchestrate a return like no other when he delivered James back to the city of Cleveland, only to watch it pay off with a championship two years later. And now he’ll have two potential lottery picks on Thursday with Dejounte Murray of Washington pegged to be a possible top-14 selection.
