The first round Playoff matchup between the defending champion Miami Heat and the upstart Milwaukee Bucks is expected to be a laugher. LeBron James certainly seems to think the Bucks have no shot, and he’s more than likely correct.

Only one person seems to believe in Milwaukee being able to not only give Miami a good fight, but perhaps even win. That person is Brandon Jennings.

The Bucks point guard, currently nursing a right foot injury, told a room full of people last night that Milwaukee will win the series in six games.

Per the Journal Sentinel:

Milwaukee guard Brandon Jennings attended the Wisconsin Sports Awards Thursday night at the Harley-Davidson museum to accept an award for his work in community outreach programs. He was only asked three questions, but he sure made the most of them. He also made a very bold prediction: “I’m real confident. I’m sure everybody is writing us off but but I see us winning the series in six.”

Maybe after noticing that everyone in the room had their eyebrows raised, Jennings smiled. “There’s no pressure on us!”

The Milwaukee Bucks won 38 games this season (compared to Miami’s 66 victories), and the vibe in their locker room is one of a team that has nothing to lose.

As for Brandon Jennings and his wild prediction — he backtracked a bit, tweeting that he was just having fun with the whole thing. The real fun starts Sunday night, in Miami.
