Carlos Boozer: Now Pain-Free

Great news for the Bulls: Boozer tells the Sun-Times that he’s feeling great and ready to play without a hand brace: ”There’s no soreness, no pain, and I’m no worse for wear,’ Boozer said Thursday before the Bulls headed to Boston for tonight’s game against the Celtics. ‘I’m not going to wear a brace anymore. I thought having it would ease my mind, but I’m not playing with it again. I wanted to be a lot better [Wednesday night], and I wanted to win. But I’ll learn and move forward.’ Boozer missed the preseason and the first 15 games of the regular season after he broke the fifth metacarpal bone in his right hand Oct. 2. In his debut, a 107-78 loss to the Orlando Magic, Boozer had five points, two rebounds, two steals and one assist in 21:34.”
