Carlos Boozer to Make Season Debut This Week?

The word out of Chicago is that Boozer is just about ready to see action for the first time this season. From the Sun-Times: “Officially, the Bulls say they are unsure when Carlos Boozer will be ready to play in a game. But after listening to Boozer and coach Tom Thibodeau talk following the power forward’s first full-contact practice Monday, there’s little doubt Boozer will be in the starting lineup Wednesday when the Bulls host the Orlando Magic at the United Center. The only thing that could derail those plans is if Boozer suffers unusual pain or soreness in his hand and/or wrist after the workouts. ‘I thought I had a pretty good day of practice, my hand felt good and it’s getting better and better,’ Boozer said. ‘That’s all I can hope for. ‘A couple of times it got hit, which is good to find out how it felt after getting hit. [It was] a little sore, but overall I thought it was a good day.’ Rustiness is something to be expected for a player who hasn’t practiced since the beginning of October, but Boozer was pleased with his level of sharpness.”
